Giuliano is a professional artist from Springfield, Missouri. He earned a Master’s Degree in Visual Studies in 2018 from Pacific Northwest College of Art and a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Art with an emphasis in painting from Missouri State University. His work focuses on combining painting with other mediums and technologies to create hybrid artworks that function differently from traditional canvas paintings.
Giuliano has displayed a variety of work in places like Planeta Gallery in New York City, The Lodge Gallery in Portland, Oregon, and The Creamery Arts Center in Springfield, Missouri.
Giuliano has been teaching art and technology classes to a variety of ages since 2009. He was awarded an artist retreat at Caldera Artist Residency in Portland, OR, and a Teaching Assistantship at PNCA as part of his Master's studies. At PNCA, Giuliano helped build the Make+Think+Code technology lab, and lead demonstrations on technologies like Virtual Reality, 3D Printing, and Laser Cutters.
At Ozark’s Technical Community College, Giuliano has been working towards expanding the Art Department's involvement with emerging technologies like Artificial Intelligence. Giuliano currently teaches Art & Experience, Intro to New Media, Drawing 1, and other courses at the OTC Main Campus in Springfield, MO.
In his free time, Giuliano enjoys cooking homemade meals, playing Dungeons and Dragons, and riding his skateboard on the Greenway Trail. He believes that everybody has a creative spirit of their own and wants to help other people enjoy making art as much as he does.
